Devil Boys From Beyond to Burn Up New World Stages

Buddy Thomas and Kenneth Elliott's comedy Devil Boys From Beyond will play at off-Broadway's New World Stages for a limited engagment beginning November 3. Opening night is set for November 13. Elliott directs an all-male cast that features Everett Quinton, Andy Halliday, Paul Pecorino, Chris Dell'Armo, Peter Cormican, Robert Berliner, Jacques Mitchell and Jeff Riberdy.

The show takes place in the summer of 1957 in the swamps of Lizard Lick, Florida. As rumors of missing people and UFO sightings spread, a New York City reporterheads down south in hopes of scoring a story, only to find out her arch-nemesis reporter is also on the way. Devil Boys From Beyond features scenic design by B.T. Whitehill, costume design by Gail Baldoni, lighting design by Vivien Leone and an original score and sound design from Drew Fornarola.

The campy comedy first premiered at the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival where it received the Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Play. The show also received a 2010 GLAAD Media Award nomination for Outstanding New York Theatre, off-off-Broadway.

Devil Boys From Beyond is scheduled to run through December 30.
